[R] Opposite of 'diff'? [was: (no subject)]

What is "patch"?  I don't find it in R 1.8.1.  However, ?"diff" mentions 
"diffinv";  that and "cumsum" perform as follows: 

 cumsum(diff(1:11))
 [1]  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9 10
 > diffinv(diff(1:11))
 [1]  0  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9 10
