Dear R-useRs,

I've written a contribute (in Italian language)
concering fitting distribution with R. I believe it
could be usefull for someones. It's available on CRAN
web-site:

http://cran.r-project.org/doc/contrib/Ricci-distribuzioni.pdf

Here's the abstract:
This paper deals with distribution fitting using R
environment for statistical computing. It treats
briefly some theoretical issues and it points out
especially practical ones proposing some examples of R
statements for data graphical exploration and
presentation, parameters’ estimates of patterns and
tests for goodness of fit.

     4. Statisticians do it discretely and continuously
     5. We are right 95% of the time
     6. We can legally comment on someone's posterior distribution
     7. We may not be normal, but we are transformable
     8. We never have to say we are certain
     9. We are honestly significantly different
    10. No one wants our jobs
