[R] Single character input without Enter

The getGraphicsEvent function only works on windows (at least last time I checked), so if you are working only on windows, you can use that.  If you want something that works cross platform, then the tcltk solution is a possibility.

Your original question did not indicate if you would be willing to have this working through a graph or not, so I was not sure if this was a good solution or not.

I would have told you this on Monday, but I was out of town the first part of the week and not reading r-help.
