[BioC] Moderated?

[Atro Tossavainen]

Some time back, the Bioconductor list used to be moderated (as in,  
non-subscribers could not post).

Is this no longer the case?  There have recently been several messages  
that clearly could not have been sent by a subscriber.  What is the  
explanation?
